  • A consise and easy-to-read book, giving a brief look at the whole message of the Bible.

  • Believing the Bible

  • This book deals with the foundation principles of the message of salvation contained in the Bible, with over twelve hundred scripture passages printed in support of the faith and practice required of the followers of Jesus Christ.

  • The subtitle reads: “Popular Christianity (both in faith and practice), shewn to be unscriptural; and the true nature of the ancient apostolic faith exhibited.” This book, covering “the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ”, arose from a series of lectures given by Robert Roberts between 1861 and 1862.

  • The Course of Time

  • Where man came from, and where he is going to, are two fundamental questions about human life. The past 150 years have seen the rapid erosion of belief in an all-creating God, and schools, colleges and universities generally assume that the theory of evolution is accepted by all. This new booklet provides compelling reasons for accepting the Biblical account of creation, and is useful for those whose faith is being challenged by evolutionary teaching.

  • The authors of this book set out to discover more accurately what Jesus believed about God and himself, starting in the Old Testament by examining the Jewish understanding … of the oneness of God, and moving on to New Testament teaching about Jesus’ relationship with his Father. The work is valuable in giving references to many other sources which document this vital subject.

  • In a short, easy to read booklet, the author challenges the widespread assumption that evolution is a proven fact, and provides some compelling evidence from the natural world for believing in the existance of a Creator. He concludes: “The Bible is not a collection of fables. It is the only record God has given us of His great work …”

  • Most Christian sects have been affected by Pentecostalism: the belief that true Christians are only those who have received a Holy Spirit gift. This challenge led t a thorough re-examination of scripture teaching about the Spirit, and the work of God in the lives of believers today.

  • This work is in two parts: the first part shows how God used the power of His Spirit to promote His authority and the knowledge of His will among His people, first in Israel and then in the communities of believers in Christ. In the second part, significant passages in the New Testament about ‘the Spirit’ and ‘the Holy Spirit’ are carefully examined, confirming the message presented in part one.
