After you have all you want, just go to the checkout to pay for your items. You can do this in a number of ways:

How do I checkout my order successfully?

Our checkout used to be very tricky to get through; however, following a recent software upgrade, it's now very easy to work through. If you still need help, this is a step-by-step guide to correctly completing the checkout process.

One thing to remember is that anything you must fill in will be in coloured bold text, and any boxes will have a solid border around them.. Anything else is optional – boxes that aren't required have a dashed border. If you miss any of these required fields, when you click the [Next>] button it will take you back to the same page, with a warning box at the top of the page. Just follow the instructions in this box before proceeding.

Before we start, there are some items that appear all through the checkout process.

  1. At the top of the page a bar shows your progress through the checkout. The section you are currently in is highlighted.
  2. Below that is the contents of your basket, together with any additional items - such as discounting information or related items. These can be hidden by clicking the button in the 'Shopping cart' header [Click here to hide cart details]. Clicking the button again will show them.

Let's move on to the chekout process itself:

  1. The first step is where you enter your address details.
    1. If you want your order to be delivered to the same address as the invoice address, then simply enter in your details under the 'Invoice Address' section. Remember, any optional items have a dashed border.
    2. If you want your order to be delivered to a different address, then simply click the 'Deliver to a different address' checkbox immediately beneath the 'Invoice address' heading. This shows another section ('Delivery address') - right next to the invoice address section, where you can enter the delivery address.
    Once you have entered your address details, click the [Next>] button to continue.
  2. The second step is the place where you specify your shipping preferences, and other optional information.
    1. Shipping and handling. This is where you specify how you want your order to be sent to you. Make your selection from the drop-down menu. Under the shipping and handling section, there is an entry for Special instructions. If you have any, (for example, you might want to redeem a Christadelphian Office book token on this order, or your parcel left with a neighbour, or you want to pick up your order), you can specify it here. These instructions will be passed on to the relevant person with your order. If you don't have any, you can leave it blank.
    2. Coupons. If you have a special offer code for our online shop, then enter it here. If not, leave it blank.
    3. General information. You can enter any feedback about the online shop here. It isn't required, but any feedback is a great help!
    Once you are happy with your details, click the [Next>] button to continue. If for any reason you want to go back to the previous page, click the [<Back] button, or if you want to leave the checkout, click the [Cancel] button.
  3. The third step is a confirmation page, where you can verify all the information for the order. There is a [Change] button in the heading of each section – clicking any of these buttons will take you back to the section where you can change the relevant information.
    1. Payment method. This is where you choose how you want to pay. If you have an online account, and have logged in, you can select your payment method from the drop-down list. Otherwise, this defaults to 'Credit or Debit card'.
    Once you are happy with all the information, click the [Confirm Order] button to continue. If for any reason you want to go back to the previous page, click the [<Back] button, or if you want to leave the checkout, click the [Cancel] button.
  4. The final step (the completion of your order) varies, depending on which payment method you select.
    1. If you select Credit or Debit Card, when you click [Confirm Order] it will open a separate page which informs you that you will be taken to a secure server. You can either click the [Next>] button, or if you wait, you will be automatically sent there.
      1. When you are there, make sure you are in a secure page. You can do this by checking that the web address starts with 'https://'. You should also see a padlock icon on your browser. If you see these, you can be sure that anything you enter here cannot be read by unauthorised people. If it doesn't, then cancel the transaction.
      2. Assuming you have a secure connection, select your Credit card type from the drop-down menu. If you don't see your card type listed, we are unable to accept it.
      3. Enter your card number into the next box.
      4. You will also need to enter the CVV (Card Verification Value) number which is the last 3 digits on the signature strip on the back of the card.
      5. You will also need to enter the expiry date of your card using the drop-down lists.
      6. Depending on your card type, you may also have to enter additional information, such as Issue number and / or Start date.
      When you're happy with the information entered, click the [Next>] button to send your order to us. If for any reason you want to go back to the previous page, click the [<Back] button, or if you want to leave the checkout, click the [Cancel] button.
      Please note! If you enter your information, then press [Cancel], we won't receive your order. You must press the [Next>] button to send your order. Be sure to only press the button once, otherwise a duplicate order will be sent.
      Once you press the [Next>] button, you will be directed to another page which says 'Wait for your browser to forward to the next page, or click here.' While you are waiting, your order is being transmitted securely to us. If everything goes to plan, you will see a page containing a receipt for you to print off. Once you have finished with this page, click the [Done] button; this will take you back to the top level of our webstore.
    2. If you select Invoice with order, when you select [Confirm Order] it will open a separate page which asks you to enter your password as confirmation. When you click the [Next>] button, your order will be sent to us. If everything goes to plan, you will see a page containing a receipt for you to print off. Once you have finished with this page, click the [Done] button; this will take you back to the top level of our webstore.

Once you have completed it, you will have successfully checked out your order! You should also receive an order confirmation email which will be sent to the email address you supplied. If you don't receive it, please email us to check we have received your order.
