The prophecies of Messiah - "him of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write ... whose goings forth have been from of old" - a subject neglected in popular teaching about Jesus today.

The Christadelphian position as conscientious objectors extends beyond seeking exemption from military service. Bible teaching about a believer's relationship with the state touches also on questions of politics - questions about voting, membership of political parties etc. This pamphlet looks at the scriptural basis for rendering to Caesar the things that are Caesar's and to God the things that are His. While the pamphlet is specially appropriate at times of elections, its message about being citizens of a heavenly kingdom is timeless.

A thorough but sensitive examination of the question "Why did Jesus die?" - looking at the Old Testament background and the New Testament circumstances of the events that brought about God's work of redemption in Christ.

Christadelphians are not infrequently labelled as a 'cult'. This pamphlet seeks to draw clear distinctions between the characteristics of non-conformist sects (those who have a sincere difference of view from the churches around them), and cults (communities whose members, often brain-washed under a dominant leader, show bizarre behaviour and withdraw from society).

This pamphlet deals with a vital aspect of our faith, as the Apostle Paul makes plain:
"If Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain ... But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept" (1 Corinthians 15:14,20).
Though spiritualism may not be as fashionable as it was in the 19th century, ideas persist in some religious circles of spirit survival and communication with the dead. This pamphlet reviews cases such as Saul's attempts to bring up Samuel with the help of the woman of Endor, and the slave girl in Philippi "possessed with a spirit of divination"; but then quotes clear Bible teaching which forbids all such practices.

"A tiny strip of land, sandwiched between the sea and the desert at the eastern end of the Mediterranean, is probably the most disputed piece of territory on earth." This opening sentence introduces 'The Bible answer to the Palestinian Question'. Taking the reader back to the promises to the patriarchs, it deals with the challenge, What right has Israel to the land? Have not the Palestinians an equal or even greater claim?
