"The Hope of Israel" is central to the Gospel message and forms part of the foundation for all true belief. This book, published by the Christadelphian Tidings magazine, concentrates "on John Thomas' life and work in North America, where he left many records, both secular and religious. An exposition of Jonah and Nahum
Eighth edition, published in 2004.
Though only a short booklet, this work by Robert Roberts - one of his last - deals with 31 of the Lord's parables, concisely summarising their spiritual significance for his original audience and for the disciple today.
This helpful booklet opens with the statement that the ecclesia "is not a Christadelphian idea; it is God's idea". The author examines the scriptures which show that it was by God's design that believers assemble and work in ecclesial communities; moreover, that individual ecclesial groups in different places are boun into one ecclesia in Christ - an ecclesia united with believers of past ages too.
The work offers sound advice for personal roles and relationships within the ecclesia, using the scriptural metaphors of the human body, the temple, the flock etc. Attention is given to ecclesial problems, and the qualities required in elders and all who are involved in ecclesial life.
Many diagrams and plans illustrate and support the description given of the temple in New Testament times, together with the rituals and feasts.
An exposition of the book of Leviticus, incorporating related laws from the book of Numbers.

The author explores 40 of the psalms, emphasising exhortation and help with prayer.
From the ancient 'ten words' engraven on tablets of stone, the author offers pithy and practical advice for the modern disciple. Thus, in connection with the fourth commandment: "If any disciple esteems every day alike, it is not that all days now become to him equally secular, but that they all become equally holy". The importance and relevance of the God-given commands is examined and is supported by the author's frequent use of "digressions". Although another century has commenced these timeless principles still need our attention.
Several times in the past, God has intervened in human affairs and the outcome has always been dramatic and hugely important. He is about to do the same again; this time on a bigger scale than ever before. The whole world is going to be changed and a new society will be formed out of the wreckage of the old one. All the indications are that this change is about to begin. We need to think about it, and what it means for us and our families.
This book will explain what is about to happen and why. But, even more importantly, it will show you how to find the key that will let you into God's new world. This book is not the key. The Bible is the key and this is a book about the Bible. It can help you understand what the Bible teaches and help you read the Bible for yourself.
